上述した超伝導特性の評価技術開発と平行して、超伝導体の最も重要な実用性能である臨界電流に関する理論的、
実験的研究を行っています。 Parallel to the development of above mentioned measurement technologies, we also derived a theoretical model for the nonlinear current transport properties in the HTS conductors based on the study on vortex dynamics in mesoscopic scale. This allows us to describe current carrying capability of superconducting materials at complicated operation conditions, and also useful as a method to design superconducting power devices and describe their dynamic behavior. Perspectives of these studies are to lead breakthrough to power grid system, renewable energy, transportation and medical systems. |
